International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) is a non-governmental organization that was established for the purposes of development of international cooperation in order to improve photogrammetry and remote registration, as well as their use.

In 1910, the International Society for Photogrammetry was established under the leadership of Eduard Dolezal (Austria) who became its first president. The organization operated under this name for 70 years but, in 1980, the name was changed to the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
